The App
The launching of our Android application is a big step forward for our company, as it not only expands our offering to be compatible with more devices, but also coincides with a significant back end upgrade to our authentication and security.
Existing operators using both the iOS & Android versions have noted the streamlined effect of reduced friction for using the pay.per.fly app to conduct flights, giving them space to focus on the real task at hand – flying drones safely and effectively.
The Insurance
Precision Autonomy’s pay-as-you fly drone insurance is made up of two components – a ground premium, and a per-minute flight premium. Operators first sign up for an annual ground cover policy at a low base fee to protect their assets on the ground. Users then use the pay.per.fly mobile app to activate their full-flight insurance. Using the app, operators conduct flights, allowing the operator to control when they fly, and subsequently, when they are charged.
