A: Provided your quote is current (has been provided within the last 30 days) you can log into the quote, click ‘Edit Submission’ on the first quote page, update any required details and submit to us. We will then review and, provided the request meets our underwriting requirements, provide an updated quotation via email link.

Once you have accessed the policy, move through the information screens. When you are at the drone listing, use the pencil icon to make changes to an existing drone, use the rubbish bin icon to remove a drone, or use the plus icon (located at the bottom of the list) to add a new drone.
Once the changes are submitted to us we will email you a link to the premium changes and terms and conditions that will apply. You can accept and pay for this online.

If the changes result in a credit owing to you this will be refunded directly to your credit card. If you did not pay via credit card, you will be refunded either via EFT to your bank or via adjustment to your premium funding (we may contact you to confirm additional details).

A: Yes, we can offer monthly instalments via a premium funding offer from our partner, Attvest. This does attract interest and other charges. Please email underwriting@precision-autonomy.com if you would like a quotation.

Please complete and submit a claim form via our website Claim Form – Drone Insure Australia. Once we receive and review this, we will be in touch.

There are 3 main reasons for this:

  • We are a relatively small business by insurance standards and we simply don’t have the personnel on deck to guarantee a grade of service for phone enquiries.
  • A lot of enquiries we need to respond to in writing regardless of any discussion, so we are avoiding duplication.
  • We could outsource to a contract call centre environment, but our preference is for our own experienced, knowledgeable staff to manage enquiries.

We do offer multiple contact avenues via our website, and our average response time is measured in hours, not days!

Yes, our coverage works on a listed asset basis. Drones will only be covered under the policy if they are listed on the policy schedule.

Our policy offers two different liability sections, Flight Legal Liability and Public Legal Liability (Ground Liability).
Flight Legal Liability provides coverage for liability losses arising from an accident involving drone itself – eg. crashing into a third party and injuring them.

Public Legal Liability (Ground Liability) provides coverage for liability losses arising from ground based drone operations – eg. not specifically arising from the drone itself having an accident, for example a third party tripping over a charging station and injuring themselves.

These coverages only apply if they are selected as part of your policy and shown as covered on your policy schedule. All coverage is subject to the terms and conditions of the product disclosure statement and schedule.

We will provide you with a renewal offer via email around 30 days prior to your policy expiring. If the policy is managed by an insurance broker, your broker will be provided with a renewal offer.

In the unlikely event we are unable to offer renewal, we will contact you to advise of this prior to the renewal date.

Provided your renewal has not expired (ie. You are requesting changes prior to the renewal date) you can log into the renewal, click ‘Edit Submission’ on the first renewal page, update any required details and submit to us. We will then review and, provided the request meets our underwriting requirements, provide an updated renewal offer via email link.
